Tsubasa Chronicles – Clamp, I am your slave!

So, I am currently watching Tsubasa Chronicles. I was wandering through the wide world of anime a few days ago and came across it.

I was to caught up in Moon Phase to check this show out right away, so I did after I finished. And then had my mind completely blown by the genius that is CLAMP.

Let me say something before I go any further, I have not see CardCaptor Sakura. Now while I think that makes me a little unworthy of this show, I also think it gives me a refreshing perspective! (Or is that just an excuse?!)

So yeah, I haven’t seen CCS, but I’m going to after I finish Tsubasa Chronicles. It’s gonna happen. I’m gonna go read all related manga as well. I swear, i’m one step from being an agoraphobe. I rarely leave my computer these days…ah, where has the sunlight gone?! T.T

Oh well…!

This show blew my mind. I was captivated by the first scene, I haven’t been like that since the days on Inuyasha. No anime has been able to race my heart since I was 13. So I was really excited, and I wasn’t disappointed.

I’ve read almost every other work by CLAMP and also seen almost all of the anime adaptations of their manga. So I began squealing like a madwomen when character’s I recognized started popping up out of no where.

Only CLAMP is capable of combining all of the differnt worlds into one explosive plot. Those women are geniuses. They do it so eloquently as well. Nothing’s overstated and it’s all perfectly interwoven.

Yeah, now I suppose I should talk about the show.

The plot of Tsubasa Chronicles is to die for. The action is intense, and it’s hilarious as well. So sprinkle some romance on top and you get one nosebleeding fangirl. <3

Though I’m not entirely finished with the series yet, I am well on my way. Hence the sleep deprived post at 4 in the morning! ^.^ Still watching, still enjoying.

I truly worship the relationship between Sakura and Syaoran. It’s too sweet. The pure innocence of it makes me giggle unthinkingly. I love how he protects her, and is determined to save regardless of the fact that her memories of him will never return.

I love how she encourages him with her smile and sweet innocence. I love how she loved him from the beginning and I don’t think that emotion could truly ever be lost.

Sakura herself is one of the least annoying anime girls I have ever come across. Probably one of my favorites now, but I won’t be sure until I get to know the original. She’s kind and optimistic, yet very serene. She’s just one of the cutest things I’ve ever seen. Seriously giving Amu a run for her money…(No offense Amu! I still love you!)

I’m also completely in love with Fye. I love Syaoran too, but his love is strictly preserved for Sakura in my mind. Unlike Ikuto, I’d be all over him in a heartbeat! But I’d probably return him to Amu in a few weeks. <3

Fye is laid back and collected. Along with his sense of mystery. I become extremely happy whenever that wizard comes on the screen.

But I have to say my absolute favorite character is Mokona. Who doesn’t love what appears to be a talking stuffed white pokemon character?!

Not only that but Mokona brings so much humor into the show…so funny + kawaii = One Crazy Fangirl. Though I found Mokona to be a little annoying in the first episode…the cuteness grew on me until I love him best! …Or is it a her?

Well, whatever. It’s still frickin awesome!

And so with that I end this random and almost totally pointless post to an end.

But not until I mention my undying love for CLAMP one more time….seriously, best mangaka EVER!
