I’m bored and decided that I needed something to post about, so this is it! My top three favorite anime kisses of the moment. xD They change quite a bit, so these kisses will probably be stomped once I watch some new anime’s.
Kiss # 3
When Shuurei and Ryuuki kiss for the first time on Saiunkoku Monogatari. This series on a whole is really good, romantically and it has a good plot. But this kiss thrilled me. ^.^
I loved this kiss because of it’s randomness. Shuurei was totally not expecting it. Who would be? Standing there with family and a bunch of court officials then out of no where the Emperor grabs you and kisses you. Shuurei’s freak out was totally justified! It would have suprised the hell out of me too! xD
And what topped the entire thing off was when Ryuuki said that he wasn’t only into men, he liked women too! The look on Shuurei’s face practically made me fall out of my chair giggling. I loved this kiss and this pairing is awesome as well.
Kiss # 2
My second ranked kiss is Mikan and Natsume from Gakuen Alice. Mainly cause it was hilarious and unexpected and totally blew Mikan’s mind.
Due to the fact that earlier that night in the middle of the Christmas Ball when Natsume and Mikan were dancing they did the classic “Trip, Fall, Land on lips” kind of kiss. Which was just too funny.
But later on when Mikan is wandering around she runs across Natsume sitting in the huge Christmas tree. She went up to talk to him and they end up bickering like always. He brings up the kiss from earlier and Mikan was all like “That was NOT a kiss!”
So what does Natsume do? He kisses her again, purposely this time. Natsume owns! I love this kiss because not only does it have the perfect combo of suprise and cuteness, it’s a real kiss. Natsume’s totally going at it. It’s not the usual, “Lets just hold our lips here and not move them” kind of kiss. It ranks as an actual kiss! I frickin loved it! And Mikan’s reaction was great as well. ^.^
Kiss # 1
Kazune and Karin from Kamichama Karin! The kiss from the anime, as well as the one show above from the manga!
The kiss from the manga is just purely romantic. A rumor that if you kiss at that church on Christmas Eve you’ll be together forever. Both Kazune and Karin to afraid to do it, ’till Kazune finally just grabs her and kisses her. Seriously romantic. <3
The kiss in the anime was purely genius! Kazune is jealous of Karin fawning over Michi, so goes into the kitchen to get a drink…But wait?! Was that a liqueur bottle he picked up?! Was that boose he drank?!
Yeah, it was! XD Completely on accident Kazune gets drunk. So when Karin comes running into the kitchen talking about Michi, Kazune goes off! (In such a cute way!) He’s all like “MICHI MICHI MICH! HOW BORING” Seriously awesome stuff!
Karin has no clue whats going on and is taken completely by surprise when Kazune grabs her says that they should kiss. The look on her face, the way her eye’s widened, the fact that Kazune was drunk and the sheer awesomeness of this nearly killed me!
I totally agree with your top three! It’s so amazing that those are some of the only anime I watch! I’m kind of new to anime, so I’ve barely watched any. Anyway, I really agree! I can’t wait for the second season of Kamichama Karin to come out as anime… too bad Gakuen Alice is only in manga now.. I’d really love to see that Christmas party episode in anime-form! =D

For some reason, these 3 scenes all show that the guy grabs the girl and kisses her, but the girl is just shocked. Her eyes are open, but she doesn’t move.. (not including Kamichama Karin manga kiss) Seems like the girls are useless and defenseless against guys when they grab them for a kiss! =P

Ha! I know! xD I really love the surprise element when it comes to characters kissing. I enjoy the really romantic kisses as well, but surprise kisses are just a lot of fun! Of course we can be friends. I live in the central part of the U.S. ^.^ It’s so cute when boys kiss girls but I still wish girls would initiate it some of the time, sure would make it more interesting! And I think I prefer Kazune and Karin to Natsume and Mikan, though both couples are good, Karin and Kazune have the feeling like they’re just fated to be!
If you want a girl initiating a kiss (a good one) n_n ; then watch sola. ^_^ It’s a good series too!

Shugo Chara is an excellent Magical Girl anime. I really recommend it. Tons of people enjoy the show, it has a good plot and is fun to watch! I love the main character Amu, with a passion! She’s one of my favorite anime characters. Special A is a good one too, but the plot moves a little slow. And the main character is really dense! But it’s still a funny romantic comedy. I’d definitely recommend as well.
Malaysia? What an exotic place to live! But I really consider any place that isn’t the U.S exotic! Lol.
i ablsolutely fell in love with shugo chara and i haven’t stopped following it in manga and anime.Amu and ikuto, i think, should end up together cause amu reminds me of karin and ikuto reminds me of kazune.karin and kazune don’t realize they love each other until later in the series but i still love it!!(p.s. the kiss was to die for!!)

I’ve been having school exams… Anyway, I’ve watched Shugo Chara until episode 43… Looking for Episode 44 now! =D I’m in love with the anime now… I’ve only watched Special A up to Episode 3… it seems boring… But anyway, in Shugo Chara, I’ve got so many things to talk about… like who’s your favourite Shugo Chara? I like Miki because she likes Kiseki, Daichi and Yoru. Haha. Oh, do you know what happens when the Dumpty Key fits into the Humpty Lock? I wonder what happens… oh and I like Amu with Ikuto rather than with Tadase. What about you? (Sorry for asking so many things at once… hehe… it must be obvious I talk a lot and get excited really easily..)

My favorite Chara is Yoru. I love Ikuto and his little playful Chara very much. I like Eru and Kiseki as well. I used to have the theory that when the key and lock came together the embryo would appear, but it doesn’t look like they’re doing that in the anime, so I have no clue now. ^.^ And yes, I’m a complete diehard Amuto supporter. Amu and Ikuto go together, Tadase can go crawl in a hole. XD I’m glad you liked the show. And just wait until Ikuto’s arc gets animated, if you’re an Amuto fan, you’ll probably just die. ^.^
I really can’t wait for them to animate the part where Ikuto confesses to Amu… and I wonder how the relationship will bloom… =D Let’s see how Tadase tries (and probably fails) to protect his precious Amulet Heart from Mr Black Lynx… ^^
My gosh… it’s taking so long for Shugo Chara episodes to come out, so I decided to watch Special A… and now I’m in love with both anime, but I’ll have to wait for both now… T_T
Since we basically like the same kind of anime, can you suggest me some anime this time? You should know what I want… like Gakuen Alice, Shugo Chara, Kamichama Karin, Special A, Ranma 1/2, Saiunkoku Monogatari… stuff like that.

Glad you liked Special A! I can recommend a TON of good anime, but I’ll just list a few personal romance favorites!
- Clannad, Karin, La Corda D’ Oro, Nana, Hatenkou Yugi, Fruits Basket, Kanon, Air Tv and Chobits just to name a few!
And if your into the magical girl anime, check out Carcaptor Sakura, if you haven’t already!
Karin is one of my favorites, it’s a really really good romance about a vampire who produces to much blood and has to release it into people rather than suck it out! It’s a total romantic comedy and her family cracks me up! I seriously recommend it.
Clannad is also VERY good, but a little sad. Tons of romance and a great plot! It’s also got a hint of magic in there! Don’t be thrown off if the first few episodes are a little slow, it gets really good! And he ended up with the right girl in my opinion!
And my newest favorite, Hetenkou Yugi has a bit of everything! Action, magic, comedy and a hint of romance. I fell in love with the anime in the first episode! But the first ep is kind of confusing, it skips around a bit. It’s the only one like that, the rest of it is really good. ^.^

I’ve been trying to watch Fruits Basket and Ouran High School Host Club, but I can’t find them on Youtube or Crunchyroll (licensed…). I heard about Karin before, but never really checked it out. Also, I’m gonna start watching La Corda D’ Oro, since it’s on Crunchyroll and not licensed yet. =D
So yeah, I’ll get onto that soon. Let’s just hope I don’t forget to do my million piles of homework during this 1 week holiday… My teachers will be like “Why didn’t you do your work?” and I’d be like “Anime is so addictive…” Lolz…

That sucks that you don’t get veoh there! Hm, Fruits Basket you could probably find if you just surfed the internet a bit, I think I remember Ouran being on AOL video if you have that there. I don’t think Clannad is licensed so you should check it out. There a ton of video players on the internet, so you just need to google an episode an look around a bit! (It’s what I usually do when something is licensed)
Trust me, I know anime is addictive!
It’s almost all I do anymore, but it’s my favorite hobby and I live in a small town so there is nothing else to do anyways. ^.^

What do you type on google search? I’ve been looking for free anime for hours now, but most of the websites use Veoh Video Player…. sob sob… =(
I usually type like…”Karin episode 1″ and click over to google video to see if they have it, if they don’t then I just surf the web till I find somewhere that does.
guba.com is another video player site, you should see if you can access it there! If not just browse around a bit, and see if you can find anything. dailymotion.com is another good site, so you should check that out too.

La Corda’s pace is slow compared to other romance genres out there. Music is probably the heavier theme there. But it somehow ended good tho a little disappointing.

@Ally – La Corda is a good show but it’s more of a subtle romance with morals mixed in. I does have a slow moving plot. Glad you’re watching Karin though! I hope you like it, it’s one of my favorites!

I like Karin… except that the blood is freaking me out… I’m the kind of person who feels sick at the sight of blood, so… yeah…
I’m watching Ouran High School Host Club, though… my gosh I’m loving it… =P I woke up at like 8.30 because of my mum, and I continued watching it (from last night) right away…
It’s 9.45, and I’m still watching it now, without having bathed or eaten yet.. lolz… =P

Right now I’m watching an anime called Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni, and it is scaring the hell out of me! T.T A bunch of crazy girls killing eachother off! I’m so confused and terrified! It was a stupid idea to watch it alone! T.T I don’t usually do horror anime but everyone said this one was good..it’s so creepy! But I just keep watching.
Blood freaks me out sometimes too, but not anime blood. I think anime blood is better than being around the real thing most of the time. It just depends on my mood though, sometimes blood doesn’t bother me at all. ^.^

I don’t care for horror much either! But it’s suspenseful and puzzling and I really like that part!
I loved Ouran! I don’t think there plans for a second season, but there is always hope! And I know what you mean when their dad’s were talking about who Haruhi would marry, I fell out my chair laughing!
The Dubbed version of Fruits Basket is kind sucky, but unless you do some really hard searching, it’s about all you’re gonna find. Fruits Basket is licensed and really famous! So you might get stuck with the dub! T.T

hii, ive just read a bit of the convo you two were having, and if you want some good romance animes, well, a good one is RomeoXJuliet-you see, it was my first true anime, and its a heart breaker. I think you can find the series on youtube. They have them on Megavideo too, but its got spanish subs, and japanese audio… so yeah… Tokyo Mew Mew is pretty good too, a bit childish but funny. and another one is InuYasha-ITS BRILLIANT!! ONE OF MY FAV ANIMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <3<3<3 if you like Ikuto, youll like InuYasha too-hes got dog ears, and hes pretty cute-same type of attitude, a bit rougher though… its a really sentimental and emotional anime, and the anime has a really good story line, but the main focus of it is the development of the characters, and how they learn to live differently, and make new friends, and also each epidoe is like you discover something new about them, or their past life or relations or something… I LOOOOVEEEEE IT!! <3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3<3

Ikuto is turning all evil kind of being possessed. Then, Yoru gave Amu the key to save him. Unlocks the lock and all of Ikuto’s memories overflow while she and Tadase get trapped bubbles created from the lock. After the memories are done. Dia comes aout of her egg and transforms with Amu. Amu and Ikuto fight. she falls on him (HUG) and cries for him. Then they both have a new transformation. Ikuto is like this pirate, while Amu make a character with all of her charas combined.
