I recently posted my top 5 anime openings, but since I watch new animes on a rapidly growing basis, the list changes. So I’m going to post another list of my favorite anime openings, just for the hell of it! Anime openings that enjoy and catch my interest! Also, most of the openings I enjoy are sung by women, don’t ask me why, that’s just how it always turns out! XD I did manage to find a few that weren’t that really enjoy, so they’ll be on this list!
Opening #5 – Vampire Knight
The anime Vampire Knight wasn’t as good as I was expecting it to be, but still enjoyable! They made up for the suckiness of the anime with a fantastic opening song, that I just fell in love with!
Opening #4 – Death Note
This song matched the anime so well that it was almost scary. The animation in the opening was very well done and gives you a great feel of the anime! Pretty lyrics, great vocals and good animation, everything an opening requires.
Opening #3 – Venus Versus Virus
I found this opening to be spectacular, better than the anime itself was. The ending theme outdoes the opening though! 
Maybe I’ll post and ending list next! This opening is just uniquely awesome, I really love the song and plus…CHICKS WITH GUNS! God, I love girls with guns! XD
Opening #2 – Junjou Romantica
Yes, the opening to the wonderful BL anime is on my list. I really love this one! It’s got such cute things! Stuffed animals and boys…*Drools* Even when I enjoy anime openings, after I’ve heard them a few times I’ll skip passed them to watch the episode, but with the Junjou opening I watched it everytime! It really added to the feel of the show for me! <3
Opening #1 – Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni Kai!
The opening of the 2nd season of Higurashi scores as first! This opening is one of the saddest themes I’ve ever seen. After watching the first season, seeing this opening nearly made me cry. It’s just too beautiful, heartfelt and filled with an acute kind of desperation. It completely coincides with the anime. I probably couldn’t pick between the two OP’s of Higurashi though, because they are both really good!
That wraps up my newly revised list of anime openings and I’m going to do my favorite endings pretty soon, cause I have quite a few of them that I just absolutely adore. <3
OMG I LOVE every OP and ED Higurashi!!!!! And I also love Death Note as well as Junjou Romantica. For Vampire Knight, the anime wasn’t great but the OP and ED made up for it. I love the action going on in that OP. Great list but there’s no Loveless anymore :[
Naraku no Hana is damn fucking good….so sad….but still has the same horror atmosphere of 1st op…..
