Soul Eater – Episode 26

Sooo late with this post! XD It was a good episode though! I was waiting to see a few parts of this! ^.^

Summary

Sid is having problems with Chrona. He can’t get her to leave her room to go and tour the school. He calls on Maka because she’s the only Chrona seems to like. Maka follows Sid to Chrona’s room. The run into Marie-sensei along the way who is lost and decides to follow them. Maka knocks on Chrona’s door and goes inside but can’t see Chrona anywhere. Maka spots her in the corner, curled up in a ball. Maka asks Chrona why she’s in a corner, and Chrona says Mr. Corner is her friend. Marie-sensei comes in to greet Chrona. Maka introduces her and Chrona huddles behind Maka. Marie-sensei talks a bit but gets interrupted by Ragnarok, who comes up yelling and screaming. Sid pops his head around the door and Chrona freaks out and gets back in the corner. Maka kicks him out because his “blueness” scares Chrona.

Maka drags Chrona out of her room to show her around Shibusen. Chrona follow behind Maka and freaks out at the amount of people (Very hilarious). Maka shows Chrona a great view of the city from a balcony at Shibusen, which makes Chrona happy. They go to the classroom, where the run into Soul. Chrona talks about how the world is scary and she doesn’t know how to handle it. Maka suggests that Chrona write a poem to relieve her stress. Soul begins making fun of Maka and Chrona and Maka beats him up. 30 minutes later the poem is finished and Mary-sense and Maka read it. It sends them directly to the corner, asking for forgivness for being born. (It’s that depressing!) Black Star comes in and read the poem and joins them in the corner. Soul doesn’t get what the fuss is about, reads it, and he too retreats to the corner. Chrona not knowing what everyone is doing hops to the corner to share in the misery. Sid pops in out of no where, saying that he regrets being brought back to life.

In the midst of all this, Stein is busy doing research and suffering from the insanity. Medusa is goading him in hallucination form. He gets fed up and tries to hit her, but obviously can’t. Stein leaves the school and goes to do research at home, where Marie-sensei joins him. She walks in while he is in the midst of being absorbed by the insanity. She turns on the lights and he snaps out of it. She talks to him and makes some coffee, but he walks out and leaves her standing there disappointed.

Sid and Shinigami discuss a rising problem in another part of the world. Apparently the Golems have gotten out of control. Shinigami sends Soul, Maka and Chrona to handle it. They arrive there but no one is willing to talk to them. One guy offers to lead them to where the rabid Golem is. Soul is suspicious of the guy, but they follow him anyways. The guy laughs at them for being so easily deceived. He then brings out the Golem which he has merged with his weapon, and begins attacking them. Maka fights back and Chrona watches with Ragnarok, not knowing how to handle the situation. Golem thing hurts Maka, and goes to attack again Chrona and Ragnarok take the blow, protecting Maka. Chrona gets slightly pissed and Ragnarok transforms to weapon mode. They attack the Golem.

Opinions

I enjoyed this episode! The drama level isn’t as high as it was through that last few ones, which is nice and relieving. ^.^

Hahaha, Stein is getting stalked by Medusa! Out of all the people who could screw with his head…he hallucinates her. Hehe. XD

ROFL! “Mr. Corner is my friend.” So Chrona is officially emo now! XD The only emo kid i’ll ever like! ^.^

I think Ragnarok is cute now too! He’s all chibified!

Ok, So Chrona is just a dweeb. No one will notice that she’s shimmying her way down the stairs…perfect place to hide! XD

ROFLMAO! I’ve been waiting for the part with Chrona’s poem! It’s one my favortie moments in the manga! So funny!

The only reason I took this screencap was to say I like Soul’s new clothes! If he never wears his yellow jacket again, I won’t disapprove! XD

Bleh, this guys pisses me off. He’s really annoying with all of his ranting, which no one cares about. I wish he’d just go away! T.T

That bastard deserves death for hurting Maka! Who does he think he is!? Bleh! *Pouts in corner*

I found it really awesome that Chrona and Ragnarok protected Maka in a moments notice! KYA! CHRONA IS SO COOL! *Continues spouting fangirl giberish*

I expected Ragnarok to be like a chibi sword, a dagger maybe…But no, he just got skinnier. Lol!
